DBZ Movie 5

     Movie 5 is about Kooler who is Freeza's brother who comes to earth when he learns a Saiya-jin who killed his brother.

    Movie 5 is definately one of the most enjoyable movies. Why? the storyline is straight to the point and yet the very idea of Freeza having a brother is very intreging. What is bad about it? well not much. Some things i dont quite understand though like Goku has defeated Freeza yet a simple shot to the back by Kooler pretty much keeps Goku out of the action for half of the movie untill Gohan gets some senzu beans.

     To say it lightly this movie has very few flaws. What i love about it is it's intro. The intro is VERY well done and is just plain awesome. What is it?  well it's basically the ending to the Bardock special but it is done so well sometimes i watch the beginning 6 or 7 times untill i watch the actual movie. Piccolo does some majoy butt kicking too. Heck even Krillin does some good fighting against Sauza (Koolers main henchmen) for awhile to keep him away from an injured Goku. There are a few funny funny scenes in this one too. Although to tell you the truth I dont think some of those scenes were intended to be funny but I found it humorous how some of the parts were done.

   The music was done really well too like when Gohan was climbing up a huge pole to go get some Senzu beans. The music really sets the scene. Some scenes are just cool. Like when Gohan gives Hiyaa Dragon a senzu bean, Geeze that dragon could have been on crack or speed if i didnt know better. Another is when Krilling is trying to wake Goku up and Krillin thinks Goku is dead, for awhile I though he was too. Scouters are used alot by Kooler's henchmen. It's too bad though they dont actually mention the powerlevels to much. I woulda really liked to know Piccolo's power level.

    Goku does some awesome fighting against Kooler. The wierd thing is Goku is stronger than Kooler in what would be Freeza's final form. But thats in Non-Super Saiya-jin form. IN the episodes Goku couldnt defeat that form until he whent super saiya-jin. Just going super saiya-jjin must have increased his standard powerlevel also. It isnt untill Kooler transforms one more time into a form Freeza couldnt that Goku really gets his butt kicked.

    In the end though this movie waas definately fun and easy to watch. Not making you think much about the story and keeping you focused on the action and cool animation. Definately one of the good movies.
